The SQ1 series drums are German crafted with 100% European birch shells which produces a great tonal balance, combined with a crisp modern attack. The shells also feature OSM shell sizing which means that the shells are slightly undersized, this allows the head to float freely on the bearing edges and produces an enhanced tuning range and resonance.The SQ1 series drum provides both a fierce tone as well as astonishing good looks which have been inspired by an era of classic cars. It also comes equipped with a variety of unique Sonor features that improve and enhance the drum such as the TuneSafe lugs which ensure that the tension screws remain stable no matter the environment and the Sonor Sound Sustainer tom mount which isolates any vibrating components.
